New Delhi – Selling the Pakistani national flag and other related items by establishments selling materials online is a clear violation of the rules. The Central Consumer Protection Authority has ordered them to remove those items immediately. Notices have been issued to the concerned establishments in that regard. These include establishments like ‘Amazon’, ‘Flipkart’, etc. ‘Confederation of All India Traders’ had written a letter to Union Minister Piyush Goyal expressing concern. Despite the tension between India and Pakistan, it is shameful to learn that those items are being sold.
The CCPA has issued notices to @amazonIN, @Flipkart, @UbuyIndia, @Etsy, The Flag Company and The Flag Corporation over the sale of Pakistani flags and related merchandise. Such insensitivity will not be tolerated.
