The threat mentions ‘those who recite Hanuman Chalisa’.
Mumbai – A non-cognizable complaint was registered by police here on Monday after former MP Navneet Rana claimed she received death threats from persons calling from Pakistan. She received multiple calls from Pakistani numbers on Sunday, Rana told Khar Police. No First Information Report has been registered yet, said an official. The threat reads, ‘Hindu Sherni Hanuman Chalisa Padhne Wali Thode Din Ki Mehmanas Jalda Hi Udanewale Ahe’ (The Hindu tigress who recites Hanuman Chalisa has only been a guest for a few days now. We will soon fly her away).
