Former Pakistani Ambassador to the US, Husain Haqqani, makes a revealing statement
Washington (US) – Former Pakistani ambassador to the United States, Husain Haqqani, stated that Pakistan would not have been able to face India over the past 75 years without the consistent backing of the US. He added that Pakistan needs to redefine its strategic priorities and reconsider its relationship with India. (This statement by Pakistan’s own former ambassador makes it clear that it was US pressure that repeatedly forced India into ceasefires. It also exposes America’s backing of both Pakistan and its terrorism-linked elements. – Editor)

How much military aid has Pakistan received from the US ?
Between 2002 and 2013, the US provided Pakistan with $26 billion in military assistance. This included 18 new F-16 fighter jets, 8 P-3C Orion maritime patrol aircraft, anti-tank missiles, and 500 air-to-air missiles. This significantly boosted Pakistan’s military capabilities. Pakistan has used this weaponry against India, especially the F-16s, which have frequently been deployed in conflicts with India. The US continues to provide Pakistan with substantial funds for the maintenance and servicing of these F-16s.
