Arrest anti-national leaders of Tamil Nadu – Vaiko, Seeman, Thirumavalavan : Demands Arjun Sampath

Arjun Sampath, the founder & president of Hindu Makkal Katchi

Chennai – Arjun Sampath, the founder & president of Hindu Makkal Katchi, has strongly supported Operation Sindoor, India’s military strike on Pakistani terrorist camps, calling it a victory against terrorism and a proud moment for the Indian Army. He welcomed the support extended by Tamil Nadu CM M.K. Stalin, Opposition Leader Edappadi Palaniswami, and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for the army’s action. However, he condemned Tamil Nadu-based leaders like Vaiko, Seeman, Thirumavalavan, and groups such as Dravidar Kazhagam, May 17 Movement, STBI, and Communists for allegedly portraying the anti-terror operation as an attack on Muslims and Pakistan.

Sampath accused these leaders of misleading the public and turning a national security issue into a Hindu-Muslim divide, which he described as a betrayal of the nation. Arjun Sampath demanded that such organizations be banned until Operation Sindoor is complete. He also urged the arrest of leaders spreading such divisive narratives under the guise of opposing the central government. Citing historical precedent, he compared the situation to Operation Polo, where decisive action by leaders like Sardar Patel and the then Premier (Chief Minister) of the Madras Province Omandurar helped integrate Hyderabad into India.

Sampath concluded by stating that a formal complaint has been submitted to both Union and state governments seeking urgent action.
