Incident at Panewadi (Manmad)
Manmad (Nashik) – Fuel supply across the state is managed through Hindustan Petroleum’s facility located at Panewadi in Manmad. However, due to a server outage at the facility, all operations have come to a standstill. As a result, the distribution of fuel to petrol pumps throughout the state has been disrupted.
A large number of tankers transporting petrol and diesel are now lined up, awaiting fuel. On a regular day, around 350 tankers are dispatched from this facility to supply petrol and diesel to pumps. However, due to the unavailability of fuel, many tankers are currently parked idle within the premises.
Efforts to restore the server are ongoing on a war footing.
