India’s allegations on Pahalgam are baseless : OIC

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), a collective body representing Muslim-majority nations, has expressed its support for Pakistan

New York (USA) – The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), comprising 57 Islamic countries, has rejected India’s accusations against Pakistan concerning the Pahalgam terrorist attack, labeling them as baseless. The OIC warned that such claims could further exacerbate tensions in the South Asian region. Additionally, the OIC emphasized that the right to self-determination for the people of Jammu and Kashmir, as affirmed in various UN Security Council resolutions, remains unfulfilled.

The OIC stated that such accusations could further destabilize South Asia and emphasized its consistent opposition to terrorism in all its forms and contexts. (OIC’s protests carry little weight when they come in defense of Pakistan, a nation repeatedly identified with global terrorism. Such declarations amount to little more than political theatrics. – Editor)

Editorial Perspective

It would only be surprising if Pakistan did not secure backing from the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). India, however, has demonstrated that such alignments hold little sway over its strategic decisions !
