Mysuru (Karnataka) – The incident of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah raising his hand on a Superintendent of Police at a Congress event in Belgaum a few days ago is still being hotly debated. A Police Constable who made a video of the incident has been suspended. Mysuru Central Jail Chief Superintendent P.S. Ramesh ordered the suspension of H.N. Madhu Kumar, a guard at the Mysuru Central Jail, for allegedly abusing Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and circulating the video on social media.
H.N. Madhu Kumar had made a video on 28th April expressing his anger against Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. The video went viral on social media. He was immediately suspended.
Editorial PerspectiveSuspending the one who exposes the crime, not the one who commits it, is like hanging a hermit instead of a thief. What else can be expected from the Congress’ anti-people rule in Karnataka ? This makes it clear that the Congress rule is run in a dictatorial manner. Why aren’t advocates of democracy talking about this now ? |
