Outcome of BJP’s demonstrations

Siddaramaiah

Belagavi, Karnataka –  The Congress-led Karnataka’s Chief Minister Siddaramaiah tried to raise his hand on a Police Officer during a programme. The incident occurred on stage in the presence of the people attending the programme. A video of this incident has become viral on social media. The Congress party had organised a programme to condemn the anti-people policies of the Central Government and anti-national governance when the incident happened. BJP has criticised the CM.

What is the whole issue ?

During the programme, BJP activists alleged to have tried to stop CM Siddaramaiah’s speech. The enraged Siddaramaiah called the Police Officer on stage and while trying to raise his hand on him, asked him what he was doing. CM, however, did not beat up the Police Officer. Congress General Secretary Ranadeep Singh Surjewala and Parliamentary Affairs Minister H K Patil tried to calm down the CM.

Editorial Perspective

It shows the way such people must be behaving with citizens if they can try to beat up even the Police ? Please note that Siddaramaiah, who could not stand BJP staging demonstrations, exhibited his apathy and insensitivity towards Pahalgam victims.
