Hospital fires Muslim female doctor in Karnataka for posting ‘I hate India’

Mangaluru (Karnataka) – ‘Dirty Hindus are after me. I am an Indian, I hate India,’ a seditious and anti-Hindu post by Dr. Afifa Fatima from Mangaluru in Dakshina Kannada district has been circulated on social media. Amidst the tense situation between India and Pakistan following the Pahalgam attack in Kashmir, a Muslim doctor has strongly opposed the posting of such a post by Hindu organisations. She has been dismissed by the hospital.

1.A case has been registered at the Mangaluru City Police Station against Dr. Afifa Fatima of Highland Hospital in Mangaluru.

2.After a huge outcry over Dr. Afifa Fatima’s post, the Highland Hospital management dismissed her. The hospital authorities then filed a complaint against her at the police station.

3.Vishwa Hindu Parishad leader Sharan Kumar Pumpwell has demanded that the Mangaluru Police take serious note of Dr. Afifa Fatima’s anti-national and anti-Hindu writings and take strict legal action against her.

Editorial Perspectives

  • Where does this audacity come from among these Muslims who live in India and brazenly say that they hate India ? Such people should be severely punished and deported to Pakistan.
  • Based on the past experiences, it is clear that no action will be taken against such people because there is a Congress Government in Karnataka.
