Pakistan is a haven for global terrorists

New York (US) – Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has openly admitted in an interview that Pakistan has supported and funded terrorism. The entire world has now seen how Asif spoke about supporting terrorist organisations, providing training and funding to them. His admission surprised no one, as the world already knows that Pakistan is a safe haven for global terrorists. India reiterated this once again at the United Nations, emphasizing how Pakistan continues to assist terrorist groups.

1.India’s representative at the UN, Yojana Patel, further stated that a certain group continues to misuse this international platform to make false allegations against India. Following the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks, the recent Pahalgam attack saw the highest number of casualties. For decades, India has been a victim of cross-border terrorism. India expressed its gratitude for the global support and solidarity shown by various countries and their leaders after the Pahalgam incident.

2.Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif had said in an interview that under pressure from the United States and Western countries, Pakistan engaged in the dirty business of promoting terrorism—a decision that Pakistan has been paying the price for over the last three decades.

Editorial Perspective

India has said this hundreds of times at the United Nations and other international platforms; however, it has achieved little because Pakistan pays no heed to such statements, and the world too does not take serious note of India’s plea. Therefore, India must deal with Pakistan in a language it understands—once and for all.
