New Delhi – The Union Government banned two organisations in Jammu and Kashmir, ‘Awami Action Committee’ and ‘Jammu and Kashmir Ittehadul Muslimeen’ for 5 years. The leaders of the organisations are Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Masroor Abbas Ansari respectively.
1.The Home Ministry says that these organisations were conspiring to separate Jammu and Kashmir from India. They are accused of promoting terrorism, raising anti-India slogans and inciting people to disrupt law and order.
2.Minister Amit Shah’s posted on ‘X’ said that those organisations threatened the unity and peace of the country and that the Government would not tolerate any anti-national acts.
