New Delhi – Former Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, living in exile in India, said that she will return to her country soon. She has accused Bangladesh’s interim Government head Muhammad Yunus of derailing the country’s system. In a video message broadcast from India, she said that she would return to Dhaka, investigate Yunus’s illegal activities and seek justice for the people as well.

1.Awami League party leader Sheikh Hasina sent a video message to her countrymen that the Muhammad Yunus Government assigned free rein to terrorists. They were killing people and creating chaos on the streets. They had illegally taken over Bangladesh’s institutions. Sheikh Hasina has also accused Yunus of releasing terrorists. She also hinted that she might lead the Awami League in the next Bangladesh elections.

2.Meanwhile, students leading the protests to oust Hasina recently announced the formation of a political party. Student leader Nahid Islam, an advisor to Muhammad Yunus’s interim Government, resigned from the interim Government to lead a new party.
