Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam terminates the services of 18 non-Hindu employees

The decision taken to preserve the sanctity of the Temple

New Delhi –The administration of Andhra Pradesh’s Tirupati Balaji Temple has decided to remove from service the 18 non-Hindu employees. They have been found guilty of acting against the rules of the ‘Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam’s (TTD’s)’. The Temple Administration has given the following options to the 18 non-Hindu employees either they should take a transfer to another Government job or they should take voluntary retirement. The Devasthanam committee has said that this step has been taken to maintain the sanctity of the Temple. This action was taken under the directive of B R Naidu the Chairman of the TTD.

The action has been taken against the 18 employees for following non-Hindu customs while working in Tirupathi Devasthanam. (What do the secularist say about including non-Hindus in the Temple Administrative Committee under the guise of secularism ? – Editor) While working in TTD they were following other religions. Now orders have been given for disciplinary action to be taken against them.

Editorial Perspective

Congratulations to the Tirupati Balaji Temple’s administration for this commendable decision.
