Prayagraj, 17th January – A grand Balaji Temple, like in Andhra Pradesh, is going to be built even at Prayagraj. Tirupati Devasthanam (shrine) is soon going to look into this matter and get in touch with the Uttar Pradesh Government for materialising the concept. The above information was given by Tirupati Devasthan to a representative of ‘Dainik Sanatan Prabhat’ newspaper.

Prayagraj Authority has presently allocated five acres of land to Tirupati Balaji Devasthanam for Maha Kumbha. Sri Balaji Mandir has been temporarily built here using 2.8 acres of land and there is also a provision of lodging for 2000 devotees. Thousands of devotees are daily going to this temple to have ‘Darshan’. Many devotees have expressed their joy over the replica of Tirupati Balaji Temple erected at Prayagraj and demanded construction of Sri Balaji Temple on a permanent basis. Devotees from UP and other States have also demanded construction of Sri Balaji Temple at the holy place like Prayagraj; therefore, Tirupati Devasthanam is initiating steps to fulfil this demand of devotees.

UP Government may help by offering land for construction of the temple – 1008 Sri Sri Vidyadheesha Theertha Swami, Muthadhipati, Palimaru Muth, Udupi, Karnataka

Muthadhipati 1008 Sri Sri Vidyadheesha Theertha Swami of Sri Palimaru Muth under Sri Rishikesh Ashta Teerth Pith of ShrimanMadhavacharya Mahasansthan, Udupi, Karnataka visited Sri Balaji Mandir and had ‘darshan’ at the holy land of Maha Kumbha. On visiting the temple, he stated that one gets the experience of going to Vaikunth on going to Sri Balaji Mandir at Tirupati. Devotees will get the experience of Tirupati if Sri Balaji Mandir is built at Prayagraj; therefore, such a temple should be erected at the earliest and the UP Government should extend help by allocating land for this purpose.
