550 suspects interrogated in the Maha Kumbha Mela area

Prayagraj – The Police have detained and interrogated 550 suspects in the Maha Kumbha Mela area over the past few days. This action was taken following threats issued by Khalistan-linked terrorist Pannun and other groups. Recently, a class 11 student from Bihar, who made similar threats, was arrested and questioned.

The Uttar Pradesh Police and Intelligence Department are closely monitoring areas such as the Triveni Sangam region, bridges, parking zones, food distribution centres, key junctions, and various tents. If any suspicious activity is observed, immediate interrogation is conducted.
