Chief Medical Superintendent at the Central Hospital in Prayagraj assures

Prayagraj – “There is no need to panic about the HMPV. There are no separate guidelines issued by the Government. We are using masks for our and the patients’ safety,” informed Dr Manoj Kaushik, Chief Medical Superintendent of the Central Hospital in Prayagraj, while talking to ‘Sanatan Prabhat’.
Dr Kaushik further said that the Central Hospital is located in Sector 2. First aid, emergency medical assistance, minor and medium surgeries, intensive care unit (ICU), gynecologist, maternity ward are provided here, along with 35 doctors. The hospital is open 24 hours for all the patients coming to Prayagraj from within the country and abroad.
Dr Kaushik added that 1,000 patients are being examined here every day. A total of 150 ambulances are working. This hospital is connected to various health centres in the Kumbha Mela. From there, patients are sent here for examination. The patients can also be admitted to ‘Swaroop Rani Medical Hospital’ in Prayagraj if need be.
